8. Actually it is currently 36-1
A win today and they tie the record for most wins in an NCAA season, win it all and they break the record.

BTW: The Chicago Tribune had an article this morning about Matt Sylvester, (the guy who hit THE 3 pointer for OSU) how he's pulling for the Illini and is proud to be the "1" in 36-1.

34. Yeppers, that is why everyone here in the Buckeye State
are rooting for Illinois. Nice to be the only team to have taken them down when NO ONE else seems able to.

Holding the "giant killer" title is also a good thing.

21. if you're in St Louis and want to go to the Cheesecake factory
and have avoided it due to crowds....TODAY is the day to go...a couple of friends of mine and I wanted cheesecake and we got right in at 4PM!!!

Now usually there is a LONG wait at that time on a SATURDAY! Today, the mall was not crowded and the Cheesecake Factory even less so.

I might go downtown tomorrow because Jake's Leg is playing at noon and I could use a Dead fix.

After NC beat MSU, the announcers said "2 Big 10 teams down, one to go!"

Illini...kick NC's butts. Please. I'm not askin' ya, I'm tellin' ya. Not because NC isn't a good team, but the media needs to get their asses handed to them on a platter.

35. You don't know what this has meant
to my 84-yr. old father. I was born and raised in Illinois. My best friend from my hometown is a librarian for the U. of I. She never cared for sports in high school. But has been a fanatic about the Ilini for years. I'm so happy for my Dad and my friend. This is so exciting for them.
People don't always realize how much fun these games can be for people.
My father attended our sports acitivities for years. Then his grandid's games. Watching the Illini brings back that excitement.
I'll be watching tomorrow night.

36. I am rooting for Illinois too
I am so sick of the Big-10 being dissed. The Big 10 had 5, count them, 5 teams make the original 65 teams!

That and I am sick of UNC and Duke being sucked up to.
