Gee, no more Schiavo threads?
I'll miss those. :sarcasm:

So what happens next to put the Pope's death out of our misery?

5. Good. Another brainless nut on the way out.

Though I at least have sympathy and pity for Schiavo's family. She was human. The other two are political nutjobs clinging to an antideluvian, irrational, and hurtful "religion". Or, counting the number of ex-Cathloics who I know and what they go through (and fewer of them than you think are gay), it damn well is hurtful.

Or seems to be. How can I be so respectful toward it? Especially when said religion has hurt others and has blindly decided that I am an abomination because I "prefer the company of men". What am I to do? Shove a knife in my chest? I've done nothing wrong.

3. Maybe.... just maybe it will stop.
No Gannon, no Schiavo, no Pope. Just normal threads... maybe? I can hope right?

4. Well, while we're being inundated with the news of the Pope
Abu Gharib (OK, I probably spelled that wrong) has been attacked.

6. The poor Schindler family.
Their 15 minutes of fame are up already. How could the Pope have been so insensitive as to die immediately after Terri, thereby stealing all of her thunder and taking her away from the center of media attention.:sarcasm:

The attention span of the American people being what it is, by the time the media is finished with the Pope's death, nobody will even remember who Terri Schiavo was.

7. Who?
I don't even know this Shiavo chick. But knowing how many people die each month from having no health care to save them, I'm angered by the hyperactive toddlers known as the 'mainstream media journalists' who would rather take part in non-news than in real news.
