This postseason accomplished something by furthering the legend of the curses. More people know about the Curse of the Billy Goat for the Cubs, and the Red Sox curse is probably going to have more believers. I find it hard to believe Babe Ruth would have any reason to curse the Red Sox, but my goodness go figure. These two teams, coming that close, and not being able to do it. It just makes zero sense.

but doesn't the so-called curse have to do with Red Sox ownership and not the Babe particularly? I don't think Ruth had any excessive animosity against the Red Sox. I thought the curse was on the team owners for selling Ruth to the Yankees for some quick cash. Any "Curse" experts out there?
