1. that's what Michael Moore did

He was talking about it on The Daily Show a few days ago. It's also in his book "Stupid White Men." I think he was the youngest ever to run for office or something. (he was only 18.)

on edit: maybe you could get the stoner vote? Just a suggestion. ;P

Cheers! :toast:

2. If there is no liberal/ progressive vote, do you blend?
You have to give some folks something to vote for, and others very little to vote against (as in vote for someone else they may not know). Good luck.

Sometimes just talking about the issues can be a good thing. Do your research, understand the issues, don't take hackneyed positions.

3. I consider
myself a modereate and progressive person. I do not like the conservitive and regressive tone in our schools. They just took away the students board vote. They are killing off programs and executing teachers that do not tow their line.

4. How big is your district?
If they fire teachers from a local community, it can sometimes backfire.

5. get with the teachers and workers groups.
They're the key. Don't hesitate to attack your opponents. Failing to do so will mean people will vote for the ones already in there.

6. Dont worry
Im pretty vocal. I crush the repug parents at sports events all the time. Even when they are talking amonsgt themselves I feel free to correct them.

I know the rep for the teachers union hes a friend of mine.
