I need a job that lets me be a night owl....
Every night, I say I'm going to go to sleep early, and every night, it doesn't happen. I've always been a night owl, and 6 months of getting up before 6:30 every day hasn't cured me of it x(

Somebody convince me that leaving DU and going to sleep is a good plan...?

4. No, I already *am* you...
Wait, can I even say that? It sounds wrong!

My mom says I used to get up and play at three in the morning... my poor mom!

3. Yeah I am too.
But I work in a hospital so the shiftwork is expected here if you're not in a white-collar job. Hard to go to sleep before you're tired.

6. Do they switch your hours around a lot?
I have a friend who's a pediatric nurse, and I swear, I would go insane on her schedule... days, days, nights, days, whatever they feel like!

8. Not anymore.
Normally I work from 1 pm until 10 or 11pm during the week and third shift during the weekends I work. Her shift would be brutal. That shift rotation is a killer. We have a plant in town that makes JELLO and they rotate workers from days to nights and back. Really hard on them.

10. That doesn't sound too bad....
'Cept the alarm clock with legs (2.5 year old daughter) doesn't let me sleep in much... maybe once she's in school, I'll be able to do something that fits my schedule more. But, I also think I'd miss her and Briarius a lot, if we didn't get time at night to hang out. Meh!

13. It isn't bad at all.
Actually it's the shift I prefer, but I had to work about 15 years of graveyard shifts to be able to do this. Yes, kids can really throw things outa whack sleep-wise. I've got a teenage daughter who's had a tough time learning that when Dad's sleeping is not a good time to play gangsta rap loud enough to shake the windows. :)

14. Hi Lynz
I don't remember where I got it. It think it was in a movie and spoken with an Irish accent. Kind of like it means "phooey" or "nonsense" or something like that. I honestly don't know why I picked that name. :)

I'll sleep when I'm dead.

You can always be my agent or something when I hit Hollywood by this time in 2006. ;-)

I'll pay you a generous 25%.

12. Sounds fine to me...
Wait, would that mean I'd have to live near Hollywood? Blech ;)

Had a guy at work offer to give me 75% of whatever he won if I could win him radio-station tickets into a poker tournament (top pot, $650,000)... that would'a been a sweet deal!

18. hell no!
In the age of palm pilots and laptops, you can stay where you are.

It's the stupid actors who have to live near the belly of the beast! ;-)

25. Once in a while
You'll have to fly to LA for a meeting or negotiations.

But the drinks are on me when you do. :D

I'll throw in a bonus, like free tickets for Briarius, or tuition for Anja. :D

Never mind about sleeping then :D

So tell me about it, as I am a non-sports type person... the only thing I watch even sorta-regularly is UConn basketball, and even that is a 'not usually'.

29. We played fucking lousy, basically.
Went out there and played the first half like the Washington Generals, if that means anything to you. Add a dash of shitty refs and a sprinkle of play that would get one kicked out of a 4th grade basketball clinic, and you've got a recipe for a humongous choke job.
