History Channel
Am I a paranoid liberal or is the History channel very right wing leaning?

I suppose the two are no mutually exclusive but still the question remains. Am I being silly to be suspicious of the show that is on right now - Nazi Guerillas - Recalling the post WWII Nazi loyalists who used guerilla tactis to halt reconstruction.

I mean I'm sure this happened to some extent but somehow it smacks of "Hey stop whining about what is happening in Iraq it's to be expected it even happened in WWII."

1. you mean the Hitler channel?
yes, i'd say it's a tad right leaning. Tonight on the Hitler channel, an indepth interview with the 4th cousin twice removed of Hitlers dry cleaner.

2. Considering their upcoming smear job on FDR,

it's possible.

I wish they'd stop showing all the military-ish shows. Everything's okay in moderation, of course, but IMO, two-hour specials on F-16s and assalt weapons can get a little boring. I think they focus too much on 20th-century history, too, although this weekend's programming was pretty good (Conquest of America and some ancient Roman stuff). They're doing a lot of JPII stuff this week, I think.

3. I noticed that too
Sounds like they are trying to justify Shrub's secracy and deception by claiming FDR did the same.

bringing up the "other woman." :eyes:
