This is a very old church in Bedford, Mass., it's a Universal Unitarian Church. The parish was started in 1729, and the present building was built in 1817. It's really a beautiful building when you see it in person.

edit: Corrected history of church/building.

1. I Have To Admit My Only regret About Being An Athiest...
Is that we don't build anything. No buildings, no sculpture. What do we have to show for our beliefs? Nothing

Most churches are pretty cool to look at.

Very nice shot!

I really like the architecture of old churches and such (especially the really grand stone churches).

If I was a churchy Christian type, Unitarian Universalist would probably hold a lot of appeal for me. They're a pretty liberal bunch of folks. I mean, the minister of this church has a degree in divinity and political science :). They're the type of church that doesn't make me cringe http://www.uubedford.org/GreenBrochureforweb.PDF

3. I've always liked looking at them. I rarely enter.
I'm sure the crosses on the wall would start to spin. IT BURNS!

4. Like the reverse Amityville Horror effect :)
The house said "GET OUT" to the priest, and the church would do it to you eh? :)
