What's for dinner tonight?
I cooked a turkey breast in the crockpot yesterday, made gravy from the broth in the pot.
Today I added some peas and corn, on the stove Basmati rice inadditon a regular dinner salad.

17. I buy 1 pre-made fondue and double it by adding extra cheese,
seasonings and wine. Making it from scratch will result in failure 20% of the time - it separates.
When I buy one packet and bulk it up it always works!

24. This one is Swiss Knight - I prefer the Trader Joes fondue
It tastes better and is 1/2 the price, but it is considered a 'winter item' and is off the shelves for 6 months (aarrrggghh - If I had known I would have stocked up).

15. The sausage actually substitutes for the crust...
You take your favorite Italian sausage and form it into a patty of whatever size you want. Then, you fry it up, drain some of the fat on paper towels, put it on a baking sheet, add a little sauce and toppings of your choice (I like sliced fresh tomatoes and onions),cover it with shredded Mozzarella to taste and bake until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Voila! :)

12. Went to the neighborhood Cuban grocery and got
a mojo roasted chicken, a loaf of Cuban bread and a bottle of sangria. Mistake. The chicken was overcooked and dried out and the bread tasted sour. The sangria, however was good. Oh well, now I have enough calories left over for Healthy Choice Rocky Road ice cream and peanuts.
