Out-of-date pimento cheese . . .
I hope it will not kill you if you make a sandwich with it.

I'm just sayin . . .

2. No, just a disagreeable cat.
I made a sandwich with the pimento cheese and later (after consuming) I saw the date was March 26th on the container.

It seemed perfectly fine. Yikes!

7. Out of date hard cheese won't kill you
I won't make any claims for stuff like ricotta, but if it is a cheddar or like cheese or processed, you can eat it if it doesn't have visible mold if it has been refrigerator the whole time. If it has normal blue green mold, you can even cut the mold off and eat it. If it is in an unopened package, this is especially true. I am not making any claims about cheese that has been expired for more than a couple years though.

6. Good point.
I like all kinds of cheese--even the kinds that smell like French guy's tennis shoes.

So, I probably shouldn't worry.
