Did anyone hear about Peter Jennings having lung cancer?

I heard part of the story on the radio but haven't heard anymore.
I think he will be undergoing chemo.

Very sad....and a painful process.

3. This news has been all over the place on DU for a couple

of days. He is a big hit in my home, so it's sad news. On the plus side, we have a friend who beat lung cancer w/o surgery.

They put a lighted tube down your throat to look into the lungs. That would certainly be understandable. I'm worried because he's been feeling ill lately; when there are symptoms, that's often a sign that it's spread.
