Worst vehicle for ride-pimping purposes?
Around here lately there's been a spate of late '80s Caprice Classics jacked up and wearing shiny rims. I dunno, not that there's anything inherently wrong with old Caprice Classics besides, you know, the engine, the transmission, the styling, and minor trifles such as that, but it just seems a strange choice. I guess old Volvos would be worse, or a Yugo or a Pacer if you could still find one, and all the little Japanese sedans pimped out certainly seem more than a little strange, but I can't decide which is worst. What say you?

12. The best spoiler $10 can buy
Now, I gotta wonder - who in their right mind thought an ironing board spoiler would actually impress people?

Yikes!

Come on.. how much faster will a spoiler and a coffee can make a neon go? Geesh.

2. The worse I've ever seen is a Dodge Neon
I swear. The paint, tint, loud sound system and rims HAD to cost more than the actual car. Absolutely ridiculous.

3. Ha! A Caprice actually isn't that bad...
(aside from the styling, anyway); I saw a pimped-out late-'80's Chevy Celebrity recently. At least the Caprice has a small-block V-8...

5. Anything produced by American Motors
A pimped out Gremlin? That reeks to high heaven of desperation.

Give me something classic - a Jag, an MG, a way old Hispano-Suiza. No pimping necessary. Coolness and sex on wheels.

Khash.

10. Gremlin.....Tell me about it......
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 06:22 AM by Robeson
...The first car I owned was a Gremlin. As a highschool kid, it took every dime I had to keep it running. It was embarassing going out on dates in that car, much less, be pimpin'.

13. Recent model Chevy Malibu

I've seen people pimp these things out, spinners and all. Never mind this is one of the biggest piles of shit on the road, but it just looks bad. Really bad. And the dumbass who did it probably has the version with the loud, wimpy 2.2 motor in it.

The other funny one is the Kia Rio I saw with the swinging Lambourghini doors. Me? I'd have issues putting $2000 doors on a $10,000 new car, but to each their own.

the bigger the trunk the bigger the kicker box. I have seen some boxes 5'long containing 4 12" speakers.
