I just remember something I wanted to post - this is loads of fun

So, I transfered colleges halfway through, the college transfer people or whatever they were called hadn't finished my paperwork byt the time class began. But my department head said "DOn't worry it'll get done."

Well, two years later (the other day) I'm going through some things and find a transcript that was supposed to be for the entire course..when recieved I had misread it and thought it was just for the time I spent there.

Long story short, the credits from the first college weren't there. So I went to the college to see what the deal was - they never transfered them. So I have to go through the whole process of just getting the courses ACCEPTED again.

I never thought anything of it when I didn't graduate because it was understood that I wouldn't be able to transfer two course and would have to do them some other time. Which I still need to do (in theory only as I'm further ahead in my career than most I graduated with).

So, yeah, loads of fun for me.

but given how bad university bureaucracies are, I can't say I'm surprised.

My first job was an entry-level position with a very large media organization and my school didn't want to release my info cuz they didn't think the job was worthy of one of their graduates. :wtf:
