10. I wondered when we would hear from him.
I remember an incident that happened right before the assassination attempt on the Pope. Father Sarducci was standing on the steps of the Vatican, and some security men made him leave. They did not find him funny. They did not care that he was filming a comedy spot. They threatened him with arrest.

I saved the little newspaper blurb, and got a major chuckle, until a couple weeks later when someone tried to kill the Pope. The security guys were just trying to do their jobs. Too bad they had to pick on poor, harmless Father Sarducci.
