Chief Exec of RomeCorp moves upstairs to the "big boardroom in the sky"
In a move which has left millions of shareholders in panic, Pope John Paul II resigned his post as Chief Exec of RomeCorp last week. A hastily put together statement by the Vatican explained that JP II wanted to devout more time to spiritual matters and harp playing. Devastated shareholders, amomg them George Bush and Robert Mugabe rushed to the Vatican today to ensure their spiritual stock was safe. A Vatican spokesman reassured votaries of the 2000 year old belief system that the new CEO would be appointed in few days time. He denied rumours that RomeCorp was the subject of hostile takeover bid by Orthodox Inc of Moscow.
