Guess the price of gas isn't hurting everyone . . .
As I was passing the RV park near my house today, I see a Hummer (a real one, not the H2) towing a large Airstream trailer turning into the park. Can't imagine what the mileage on that is.

1. That's gotta be in negative numbers
Which would be a bragging point for that moron. "Ah'm so damn rich my car gets negative 5 miles per gallon."

and just watch an angry mob push towards him at a stop light. They'll force open the door, drag the guy out and beat him on the street. Watch the outraged mob slice his tires.

At that point, watch for gas prices to be around $4.50 per gallon and a VERY pissed off, disgruntled population.

It's going to be a LONG HOT SUMMER.

Don't worry. These kinds of things will disappear like an ice cream cone on the sidewalk in July.

6. That is what I've been saying.
All the R.V.s are going to be in a permanently parked position. They will probably become low-income housing. Mark my words.

5. Hell, just count the SUV's you see on a trip out..
We ran an errand a bit ago into the yuppiest side of Birmingham and I counted over 50 large SUV's (Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade, Expedition, etc). I'd bet you'll see a glut of them traded in by owners who could barely afford them anyway.

Have you checked in at the Alabama forum?
I grew up in B'ham in the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
I'm in Foley now.

8. My hubby and I are about to buy a Toyota Prius, we are on a waiting list
it will probably take about 6 weeks to get the car we want.

Apparently the Prius has been selling like hotcakes lately, with 60 miles to the gallon I can't wait for ours.

14. I'm getting a car this summer
and it won't be a Hummer! Ha HA!

It'll be a Corolla. A car that gets over 30 mpg. The '05 model gets almost 40!
