My dog's name is Joy. What's yours?
Edited on Sun Apr-10-05 05:57 PM by Longgrain
She was actually named after a character from a Sid and Marty Kroft show from the early 1970s.

My sister has two dogs named Nasa and Hayley...

Alright then, what are your dog(s) named.

1. Bisbee is the Weimy. Lucinda (after L. Williams) is the schnauzer.
Don't know where my son got Bisbee. He named Lucinda after his favorite songstress, Lucinda Williams.

5. Boen is named after the knight in "Dragonheart" the movie with
Dennis Quaid and Sean Connery as the voice of the Dragon. I spelled it without the "W' in the middle.

9. I have a Gomez
I have always wanted a male pug to name Gomez. I never knew exactly why, but that always seemed the perfect name. Then my best friend pointed out that in my crosswired brain, I probably equated the name Gomez with the name Pugsley from the Addams Family. :D

13. Moby.
We're not sure of the breed...I suspect a Shiba Inu mix. He's about 40 lbs.

When we got him (pound pup) he was named Riley, which didn't suit him at all; now he's Moby, only partly because he's such a you-know-what.

23. Senator "Spike" Boxer
I was just trying to download a pic for all to view, but no such luck.

He's a boxer that I adopted 3 months ago...just after my lab, Jesse, passed.

He came with the name Spike, but was officially renamed Senator Spike Boxer in honor of the good Senator from California. I'm lucky he wasn't a female, would have been a bit odd at the park to be yelling "Barbara!"

25. We did have a gorgeous Dalmation a number of years ago. Her name
was "Meson." This is a Greek word for a "medium weight black and white particle." Only physicists and other scientific types get the joke! My husband (Ph.D in physics) named her...I loved her endlessly; she was my third daughter...

:hi:
