4. i almost did
came very very close to signing on the dotted line 4 years ago, but the military docs wouldn't accept me because i had had too much surgury on my jaw.

Heart condition, 65 years ago though, I would have tried to cover that up and join. Hell, man my family was directly affected by that war in Europe.

19. Ya I think she has but I am still chuckling over the irony
of the concern about the military industrial complex and the fact he's a general is why she has those, since Eisenhower was commander of SHAEF(sp?) during WWII.

I admit, I don't see the big appeal in Clark but I can respect people enough to not call them trolls. Its kind of funny that she brings up the beware the military industrial complex since Ike Eisenhower made taht comment and he was a military man. Just my 2 Cents. I don't hate or love Clark but the way that question was framed was pure flame bait.

but infering that people are trolls is way over the line. I think the main reason why I don't see much appeal for me personally is that he hasn't established himself as a member of the federal government and unlike some past and potential candidiates who have bills and such to their credit, he doesn't, I like that in a candidate myself but there are some who like outsiders, I guess I am not one of em but I can understand them.

20. one guy recently called me a troll
It was one of those threads were people were dumping on anyone that worked with the Dem party. He was saying it was all a huge waste of time, etc... I asked what he suggested as an alternative. Response: I was a troll for even asking. Every day I'm more and more convinced that the right holds power because of the indolent left.
