Good News! There's a chance I might get on the Dean's List this semester!!

Considering my cummulative GPA at the beggining of the semester was 2.33, and the fact that I'm generally not a superb student, this is HUGE news for me!! I recently recieved my progress report, and I have an A, two B's and a D, and an A pending in my one-credit wellness class (that class is an easy A, anyway). If I can get the B in one of my classes up to an A (which is possible), and get that D up to a C, I'll have a 3.58 GPA for the semester!!!

I haven't made semester honours since I was a sophomore in high school. I'm so freakin' excited right now!! If I can get that, my cummulative GPA will go up to 2.72!!

This kicks ASS!!!

But it would have been less if I hadn't taken the psychology final.

The prof gave three tests during the year, and the final was only mandatory if you missed of them or wanted to improve your grade. My final grade was a C, so the prof was quite surprised when I showed up for the final. I explained that I wanted to try for a B. About an hour later, he looks at what I'd written, said, "Okay, you've got a B," and I went on my merry way!

Anyway, congrats--and make it happen!

5. Oh MAN, that's so close!!

I was the same in high school. 2.95 cummulative GPA. I was the highest-ranking student in my graduating class who did NOT recieve cummulative honours.

I can look back on it and smile because if I hadn't taken that Psych final, which technically I didn't need to, I wouldn't have a shot at the 3.0. At least I don't have to go through life wondering if I could have pulled a 3.0 if I HAD taken that final!
