8. a car
with a headlight out.
you can play the pididdle game!
how:
when you see a pididdle riding around with friends, call out 'pididdle', then everyone who didn't call it first has to take off an article of clothing.

9. I always heard with a piddidle,
which was a car with one headlight, you had to kiss the person next to you. One of my first great kisses as a young teen. Maybe he was just bullshitting me. Doesn't matter...

:)

3. I usually stop at the intersection when I come to a yellow light
After all, that's what you're supposed to do at a yellow light.

13. Flashing yellow is caution.
Solid yellow means stop.

16. actually, solid yellow means warning
as in "Warning, the light is about to change to red"

so the yellow means slow down, because

the red that is coming means to stop.

http://www.mass.gov/rmv/dmanual/102004/chapter4.pdf

that's the driver's manual. page 4 "You must stop if it is safe to do so. If you are already stopped at an intersection or stop line, you may not proceed."

4. say what?! sex credit?!
my 11 year old puts both hands on the ceiling and holds her breath going under bridges, though. it's supposed to keep you safe from the bridge if it falls on you. ha! yeah, right, honey.... (i don't say that out loud...)

We use to hold our breath and lift our feet when going over a bridge...
...which doesn't work very well as an adult driving a car.

There was something we would do when we passed a graveyard but I forget what that was

24. You hold your breath when passing a graveyard
so your breathing won't wake up the dead (which doesn't make sense, I know.)

You also hold your breath in tunnels, but I don't know why.

Every yellow light is two minutes of good lovin'. Every red is ten.

Unfortunately you lose what you've banked when you actually get the lovin', though.

19. My brother always does that
I've sort of picked it from him.

Only the driver does it though.

I'm confused as to the "sex credit" part though. I always just thought it was for luck through the intersection. Like when the Pope kisses the ground after a flight.
