2. by sleep I mean
about 5.5 hours per night, fitful.

What I wouldn't give for 12 hours of refreshing, peaceful sleep.

NARROW your focus...find ways to help LOCALLY...

At least, find some local people you can share your feelings with in real life.

Like that line from 'Animal House':

"My advice is: Start drinking heavily."
"You'd better listen to him, Gopher...he's Pre-Med!"

6. You're exactly right......
...once one realizes that national elections can be and have been predetermined, then its time to focus on the local level. I've acutally found it kind of energizing to stem the tide right here on the ground, where we live everyday...

5. Some Thomas Harris might help.
Red Dragon, Hannibal...hmmmm? Perhaps something a bit darker might bring sleep. It works for me.

I am not sleeping this days, but it has NOTHING to do wiht bushco

Here is waht you need to do.. seat down and find out exactly what you are good at. Are you a good organizer? Get your local democrats behind you and start working for local change.

Me, I write, so I blog (Yes you will find the link in my sig) and I also run a gaming company. I have incorporated into the plot a lot of what is going on right now... the game is full of references to what is going on. Heck one of my transitinal characters, Senator Callahan, is based purely on Senator Byrd and his speeches.

So I am using my writing to try to reach kids and make them THINK..

Now anotehr examople, the folks at Air America, Randi Rhodes, she admits it, she could not run for politics, but she does what she can. She did not get there overnight either.

So I ask, what exactly are you willing to do?

Oh and the game company webstide is also at the bottom, Deist Games...now seriously where do you think the reference for the game company is coming from?

8. I'm very linear
just the way my brain is built

I put my life to-do's in order, and start marching down the list in order.

First on my list is...um...."fix America".

Since I can't do that one, I'm stuck in something like an infinite loop, churning and churning. Unable to move past this item until it is somehow done. Like a wind up doll, marching into a wall, bumping back, marching into the wall again and again.

I think focus is a good suggestion. I need to choose what I want to do, what I can do, and do it.

9. Ok we are starting to get somehwere
Over the next few days think of what skills you have that can be used to "fix America" Realize this is a long term project and you cannot achieve it alone. But you may want to consider running for local office, like the school board... even dog catcher... or DNC ofices. You may want to write a news leter to be distributed at your local democracy for America meeting... this is what you do.

Being linear may mean you are good at creating language that works... see this is how you go about it.. you cut this incredibly large task into chunks that you can actually do something about.

Oh and do get some exercise, may help...

Oh and do read the websites I told you the links about... why do I blog outside of Koss? Multiple places, but I stay on message... and the game.. read the short story... you may find the Metaphysical Societies (Yes I lifted them from history) to be inspiring... and if you think things are bad for us... I absolutely worst cased it for the people of my fictional world... but read that short story... it may resonate... and you may find allies in teh strangest of places...
