1. That will make it simpler for roasting
the cats on the bbq as shish-ka-bobs. I mean, they are "hunting" them right (meaning stalking, shooting, preparing and eating)? Otherwise, it's not "hunting" but simply shooting and killing.

3. It would depend on the aggressiveness of the kitty killers, that's my .02
I live in Wisconsin, people shoot Mourning Doves here too.

8. hunting is a term coined by opponents of this bill
to give just the impression you stated. really, it's the right to kill an animal on your property. doesn't say anything about 'hunting'

2. I don't understand this whole thing
How is one supposed to tell a feral cat from a regular kitty cat? Seems to me they could do some birth control program like ones I have read about to control deer.

4. I'd like to
to have open season on cat killers...;)I'd get a bow with the most vicious looking barbed razor arrows I could get.Every arrow would have a cats' picture taped on it that had been killed by these assholes along with the piece of shit that wrote the bill and a hearty fuck you.So the jackass would know exactly why he has a terrible barbed razor arrow in his ass and not be out hunting cats for a while.
I really HATE people who rationalize killing cats "for sport".And you know this IS what this bill is about, these jackasses would kill birds too because they just like killing weaker smaller or vunerable creatures that can't fight back...fucking bullies.
Save the songbirds? Well go yell at god as to why cats eat birds. People Killing the cats will not help the birds. However stopping bully people might help people stop killing .

5. Some restaurants will serve kitty food, I know there are some ethnic
groups that consume cats here in Wisconsin. Maybe someone will use bait and set-up cat stands. What a nightmare for anyone that loves felines and what a joke Wisconsin has become as a result of this issue.

10. only because it got attention
you can already shoot feral cats, in rural areas, in Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. So Wisconsin's the outlier.

11. Our Governor is opposed to it now and on record as calling it "silly".
We are reclaiming our progressive tradition here from the hell of privatization under Tommy Thompson aka The man who sold the world.

Governor Doyle's position reflects the opposition to this issue in Wisconsin, some embarrassment too.
