Did anyone watch a show called "Popularity Contest" last night on CMT

It's show about some city slickers who are are plopped down in a Vega, Texas; population 945 and the town's people decide who they want to stay.

They showed a scene where Tana, a psychic medium from Columbus, Ohio visited the home of the local right-winger. The right-winger asked the medium what kind of car he drove. The medium said that he drove a Hyundai and a BMW. The right-winger went ballistic. He accused the psychic medium of supporting enemies of the U.S. because we had fought the Koreans and the Germans at one time. Accused the medium of not only being unpatriotic, but dishonoring the memory of his Grandfather because he had fought in Korean.

The right-winger started a campaign to get rid of this unpatriotic medium. The funny thing was that Tana, the medium did fairly well when it came to voting.

I know it's dumb to watch show like this, but it just kills how they twist things to fit their agenda.

We, along with that clown's grampaw, were fighting FOR the Koreans who made that Hyundai, but I guess that moron has north-south issues all round the world!

Nothing like portraying your base as a bunch of nitwits....oh well, whatever floats their boat. But wow, you have to wonder what the take of a Korean-American CMT viewer would be, viewing that sort of nonsense. If I were a medium, I suspect I'd sense the click, click, click of the TV remote.....

Like that right-wing asshole's TRUCK was made completely in the USA.
