Well, I made an odd decision
Ben looking at work available to me through my...scoff...education. Pay is just too shitty...in fact I probably couldn't satisfy my debts with it. So, I'm signing on with a yacht crew. I have the experience from before, and the money is good. If I do this for six months I could earn around $30,000 Canadian...pay off the debts. Get money saved...... then work for slave wages at some small paper.

The one thing that worries me, I gotta keep up with my writing during all of this. Or else, I'll get laughed at come time to enter the journalism world. But all this won't need to happen should the one BIG job I applied for goes through...anyway that's the update.
Questions?

1. Now go get a deal
with a newspaper to write about your yacht adventures as you have them. A series.

It's just like riding a bike. Once you learn, you don't forget.

The secret is in staying inspired.

4. A friend of mine signed on as yacht crew for a rich couple...
Spent six months cruising around the Mediterranean, tying up in a different port every night - Spain, the South of France, Italy, Greece...

He seemed to enjoy it.

5. Correction...bad math skills I mean I can make about $22,000
But that's cash, and I will figure out my loopholes for off-shore earnings.....either way it's more money than I'm in debt.

6. Sounds Pretty Good
Do you have internet access and a Notebook in the meantime?

You'll need both should the opportunity present itself and/or you decide to go for hand-written journals and spend a few hours in every port uploading and downlinking your journals in every port.

Myself? I'd rather chase the Women at every port and have something to write about but if you want to keep up, you have to worry about information getting to you and passing it along in a timely manner.
