And so you're favorite beer is???
Mine?

Well thank you for asking.

Generally I like Corona with lime.

But last night hubby brought home my all time favorite - Heineken. OH BABY that's a BEER!

3. Ditto
Corona with a twist..

If that's not available, I have been known to drink rolling rock, belgian whitte (white) beer...

and ever since visiting London on vacation last year, i've taken a liking to shandy.

Shandy is a beer/fresh lemon juice drink. It's awesome on a hot day.

16. Let us know when you find some quality beer!

Corona? Anything you have to put lime in in order to make it drinkable is a bit dodgy if you ask me!

Heineken is OK-ish, but still regarded as a fairly cheap, bog-standard factory beer from a HUGE brewing company. Having said that, it has now improved MASSIVELY since they decided they'd only bring the 5% beer to the UK, rather than the terrible fizzy water they used to send to us (3.4% IIRC).

Do yourself a favour and try some proper Abbey beer....something like a Leffe Blonde or one of the weaker Chimay beers (i.e. around 5 or 6%) would be a good start. Pelforth Brun is a FANASTIC French beer.

If I'm going for draught lagers though, I'll always pick a Stella Artois, Kronenbourgh, Grolsch, Staropramen, Tsing Tao, Tiger, Cobra or Kingfisher over a Heineken.

And don't get me started on proper beers (ales) and stouts!

22. Well.....maybe just a little!....
I just like quality food and quality drink.

I'm not snobby about it - Brooklyn Bitter is fantastic, and Coopers Sparkling Ale (Australia) is really, really good. As is Cascade from Tazmania.

Don't get me wrong, I'll knock back a Heineken on a sunny day but I just don't see how it can be anybody's FAVOURITE beer, which is what you asked!

26. Favorite? Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, hands down
http://www.sierranevada.com/beers/celebrationale.html
http://ratebeer.com/Beer/sierra-nevada-celebration-ale/370/

Rich and malty (at 6.8%!), but not too sweet. Tons of hoppy goodness.

For an everyday beer? Summit Extra Pale Ale, probably the definitive midwestern american pale.

Of course, the best beer is always the one you made yourself :)

then one of the west coast breweries started using them. Definitely my favorite for dry-hopping, but saaz runs a close second for IPA's.

31. WARNING: Beer snob reply ahead....
Corona may be the skunkiest beer I have ever had. One of the few beers that lime is actually good in, as it kills the awful flavor.

Heiny is ok, but only if it's fresh. The green bottles usually kill it, as it skunks quickly when exposed to light (as does ANY beer).

My current fave is Saint Arnold's Spring Bock, a sweet seasonal offering from Texas's oldest microbrewery.

But seriously, drink what you enjoy. At least you're drinking beer, and not one of them horrible alcopop flavored malt beverages.

...Anchor Steam is always a good choice. Victory's Prima Pilsner hits the spot too. Samuel Adams Boston Lager is also a winner. On a hot 90 degree-plus day, an ice cold Foster's with a splash on Rose's Lime Cordial is a real refresher....
