and back in the day (oh the day of the late 70's) all you had to DO in this town was cruise. I can get from Dublin to Circleville using back roads...and YES, I know where it is.

I actually cruised through the Sawmill off ramp this past summer just to experience the weirdness and fear of it since it was redone.

I guess I'm wrong. But your description could work for Dublin, Powell, Hilliard, Westerville, Lewis Center, Delaware, Sunbury, Upper Arlington, and Bexley.

2 middle schools and they are going for another middle school, JR Hi, 2 elementaries and a third high school.

You have not been out this way in a while have you? We still have more than 60% open land or development, and it will all be sprawl. You would not believe the population projections for the next 15 years for us. Heck, we are even getting a hospital! Our traffic is unbearable now...it will be at a standstill...and we have NO COTA service here. And we are only landlocked to the north with Reynoldsburg, and to the northwest by Columbus. Everything every other direction is wide open for annexation, darn near all the way to Lancaster.

With 270 looping around, 71 north-south, and 70 east-west, columbus looks like a gigantic pie divided into 4 slices. I'm in the northwest slice, and I rarely make it over to your slice. Although, another DU'er lives out in Pick-town at exit 112A where the clock tower is, and occasionally I go see him.

one night some freeper types tried to rip off his stickers, and one of them took off their shoe and ground it on the trunk of his car which left a black mark he cannot remove.

matching red white and blue Kerry stickers, and someone tried to scrape one of mine off my bumper and damaged it (the bumper), and my drivers door was keyed. However, I proudly put another Kerry sticker over the bumper boo-boo, and there it REMAINS.

Oh I wish that would have happened in front of me. My daddy taught me how to deal with idiots like that...they would never admit to a small woman kicking their ass!
