Anyone else remember that disgusting stuff. Or their wacko commercials with the teen kids standing in the streets yelling SURGE!!!.

I'd rather eat a McRib...

4. For me I was a drunken college drop out when that stuff came out
I remember it as one of the worst tasting sodas ever!

Especially on a cold, hung over morning when I had to get up early for work, and there was nothing else in the fridge.

3. I didn't know they stopped making it!
Well. I'll be.

Does McDonald's still have those sandwiches in the special container that "keeps the hot side hot, and the cool side cool"? I remember eating one in a charter bus coming home from college, right around 1989.

13. I'm all for bringing back aspen cola
Pepsi test marketed Aspen on the west coast way back in the early 1970's, and because it was my favorite soda ever... it was a dismal failure and they pulled it after a year. Apple flavored pepsi, not oversweet.

Why stop with surge? Why not bring back JOLT cola to every convenience store? Jolt: All the sugar and twice the caffeine as a regular soda.

16. They said the website had recipes to make your own surge...here's mine
Buy a bottle of no-doze (100-pill size)
A 2 litter bottle of sprite
Crumble up the entire bottle of No-doze and add to sprite. Shake gently
