Why do you think you'll never take a trip?
<begin old fart mode> Why when I was your age I used to walk seven miles every day </old fart>
Seriously, I used to hitchhike a fair amount-- from Boston to NYC every other week, to DC less often, crossed the country a couple times. Places I wasn't comfortable sticking my thumb out on the open road, I'd take the Greyhound; that's how I got to Atlanta (where I saw the Eagles on their first American tour, which tells you how long ago this was-- and they were actually pretty good when they were young and hungry).
When the '80s rolled around, I got an office job, and I've been living a fairly sedate life since, if you overlook playing in a local rock band and going to Brazil every year or so.
But there's definitely a part of me that misses those days.
And I agree, it woulda been fun to have you with us in Boston, singing "Won't Get Fooled Again" at the top of our lungs.
