A whiner from the right

I was looking at local papers online as a result of a specific Google search, and found this LTTE for a paper in Wisconsin. (I've been paying attention to the feral cat issue) Talk about your whiners! Read it and laugh.

Too much immorality

We have canceled our subscription to the Tribune. Here is what we have been "treated to" and will not miss:

- Many uses of the term "family" to describe a woman with a child who lives with her boyfriend. This is a new definition of family that gives recognition and status to an arrangement that is considered by many to be not only immoral but also detrimental to society, the women themselves and especially the children.

- One front page article, (with large color picture) describing in glowing terms a program that seeks acceptance of homosexuality by offering "acts of kindness" by the children who are caught up in this destructive lifestyle.

- Large article, again with color picture, informing us of "passion parties," where women gather to discuss intimate things and buy sexual articles.

- "Advice column" which was highly offensive. Young woman (18) writes to ask how she can keep their relationship strong while her boyfriend is gone for six months. The columnist replies that she should not underestimate the power of phone sex!

I could go on and on. Moral standards have certainly been compromised. Our society is decaying, and we have the statistics to prove it!

When the "news" is presented in such a way as to promote a change in basic moral standards (there is an agenda beyond reporting news), I believe we are doing a grave disservice to our society.

I bet they all have to do with tolerance and acceptance.

I bet not a single of his statistics has anythig to do with constant war, propaganda, using God's name in immoral ways, or forcing millions of children in the US to go without food, shelter, and medical care.

Nope, I'm sure that asshole's statistics all have to do with the use of "shit" on TV, gay marriage, and abortion on demand.

Due to corporate greed and selfishness. Given their position, they've got to be moral.
