If Maggott hadn't gone looney tunes, would the Dirty Dozen have completed
their mission with fewer casualties?

2. No Mission On Film CAN Be Completed Without One Member Freaking Out!
It is essential! Therefore I can only assume they would have failed completely without it! Just doing his duty!

6. I Believe It Is Something Like "Maggot - The Weak Link."
Ox - Strong but stupid
The Professor - gentile but educated
Mad Dog - Street smart kid from the bronx
etc.

8. No! If I remember correctly, the plan was to get all of the . . .
. . . officers down into that basement, which they did, where they fried them.

The resistance and casualties were encountered on the outside of the German coumpound, where the Dozen knew there were going to be guards. Bronson and Marvin even disabled the radio so nobody could call for backup.

I think the only extra casualty was the one Maggot shot.
