In all seriousness, I have a Pentecostal neighbor whose best friend, also in the church, is absolutely convinced Bush is the anit-Christ. He doesn't joke about it. He truly believes it.

5. All the biblical references to the antichrist or beast use male pronouns.
Also, since the Antichrist is a counterfeit of Christ, who was the Son of God, it is presumed the Antichrist would be male. Of course that doesn't mean he wouldn't have female advisers and assistants.

Even in the fundie "Left Behind" series, one of the Antichrist's most trusted associates is a woman named "Viv Ivins" (take a close look at the name and think "roman numerals")

10. Actually, the bible mentions that there will be anti-christs
implying that there would be more than one. Doesn't that make it easier, now you don't have to even make a choice. Condi certainly qualifies, even though Bush would probably take the top spot for US anti-christ. Then of course there is the new pope, who I think may turn out to be the top honcho anti-christ over all of them.
