I think I'll start looking for another job, now.
Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse, my boss comes by and drops off new reports to be filled out. New special improved reports that the new CEO wants.

Now, instead of filling out revenue reports by month, the revenue for the month has to be divided by the number of working days... and that amount filled in - thus forming a 'daily revenue report'.

I asked my boss if he could explain the logic behind dividing the revenue up by workday and he says, "This is what happens when you have an insane person take over the company. Don't ask the logic, just do it."

What could I do but laugh?

1. Ugh, reports.
I have some nasty ones to do... are they in Excel? Can you just plunk a formula in to calculate it, and replace the number of workdays in the month each time you do the report? Blech.

2. Being a small business owner, we
count revenue by the day to make sure we'll have enough to meet expenses and payroll w/out borrowing. Needless to say, we've hit a rough patch in this economy. But we recently got a big contract and now we can live month to month rather than day to day. D ; )
