I've lost it!
All day I was thinking it was Saturday, that's what happens when you don't work, everyday is the same. I can't believe I did this.

1. I did that a couple of weeks ago
I got up one morning for sure that it was Monday and I was kinda bummed because that meant that I had to be back at work. So I get a shower and have some breakfast and then I go to take my medication and it's in one of those pill separators that have the day of the week marked and i realize that it's only Sunday. I thought that was so funny that I had to call someone and tell them about it.

Sorry you are not doing well on the employment front. I hope things get better for you in that department sooner rather than later.

5. I'm retired but
beginning to think I should find a part-time job. The days are beginning to run together.

6. Sorry for being presumptuous
It's just that I've heard so many stories here about people being unable to find a job, I just assumed that was the case with you. To hell with that part-time job! Get yourself a calender and set it on the night stand and mark each day off as they go buy. That will keep you straight.

9. Well, I did look at my calendar
on the computer, quickly bypassed thinking it was incorrect and would fix it later (my old computer would often have the incorrect date because of my dog wanting to go under the desk and mess with the cords and unplugging things).

2. Sorta similar experience today...
Edited on Fri Apr-22-05 09:16 PM by susanna
I am working (for the moment) and when I woke up this morning I kept thinking it was Saturday and I could sleep in today. So I was two minutes late this morning; it took me a few minutes just to figure out it was Friday after all, and I had to get up and go to work. Thankfully my boss is pretty laid back...

edited because it didn't sound right - I said unfortunately I was working but that is NOT what I meant...sorry, I hope you find work soon.

4. I know what you mean
I was laid off a couple years ago and the days just seemed to blur together. I was so desperate for a job and something to do that I almost took one selling Kirby vacuum cleaners.

7. Thanks everyone
for your understanding. Just can't believe I did this I just don't know what made me think it was Saturday. I didn't listen to Air America very much this morning because I thought it was Saturday and didn't want to listen to reruns. Oh my gosh! I'm so embarrassed. I posted a thread earlier wondering what happened to Laura Flanders because she was not on -- dah, she is not on because it is Friday, not Saturday. Oh well.

11. No problem I have been exactly in the same position as you
The only way I could keep track was that my girlfriend at the time had off Thursdays. So I always at least knew when that was because she would come over.

12. I'm sorry for that
I must have passed on >whatever that brain glitch is> to you. Yesterday I kept thinking it was Friday, so when I passed it on, it went to the next day so you got "Saturday."

:D
