Have you ever been in a restaurant when a waiter drops a bunch of plates
And everybody applauds? Does that happen everywhere or only in Miami? How did that get started? How did that become such a natural reaction?

Ive been in a bunch of different places when that happens, NY, SF, Chicago...

I think it's rather rude. Best to just let the person suffer anonymously and without fanfare, in my opinion.
