Bio milk. Whole cream. Carrots. Two kinds of lettuce. Pickles. Cervela (hard to explain, but like really big weiners . . . my husband's grilling tonight). Butter. Swiss chard. Baby corn. Curry sauce. Fresh yeast cube for making cinnamon rolls tomorrow morning. Cream cheese (for making cinnamon roll frosting). Vinegarette salad dressing. Mayo. Dijon mustard.

That's all I can think about without hefting my butt up and going into the kitchen to have a look!

Nah, we don't have avalanches here in the Mediterranean part of Switzerland. But I do have a gardener outside trimming the hedge today, and he's creating an avalanche-like mess in the yard.

....and YOU have a gardener. Damn, the irony.....

we've ever had someone else cut the hedge. But I made a real mess of it last fall . . . so we're doing this for love of the hedge.

Specifically, giant ones people can swim in.

-->I see from your profile that you're in Switzerland, so the question may not make much sense to you, but you did say ask anything. In the mid 1960s, in the US, NBC, one of the 3 major television broadcasters was showing a football game. It was very near the end of a close game, and the programming was scheduled to show the film Heidi at the top of the hour. So when the top of the hour came, and the game had still not ended, the network stopped showing the game, and started showing the film. They were flooded with phone calls from angry sports fans. It was a seminal moment in American broadcast and sports history. :)

Although the truth is, Heidi wasn't a little blond like most people think. The character was based on the people native to a part of Switzerland where most people have dark hair.

My husband refers to the "Heidi" films as "those horrible documentaries about our people." :rofl:

Actually, I once had an art client ask me to make a painting to match her living room carpet. Since then, I've thought it would be cool have a solo exhibit titled, "Thing for a Beige Wall."

thank. You are the second person that tells me they like my sig line. I am a big cat lover myself, even though I don't have one at the moment. My last cat died in January. She lived with my mom the last 10 years because my life style didn't allow me to live with a cat. But somehow she was still MY cat.

Including me. I lost my cat last year, sadly, but still have two dogs. My animals are from rescue, and losing my cat was tough, since she was the one pet who I rescued, myself.;(

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I know how tough this can be, since I have lost too many pets. I adopt older animals.:shrug:

You're lucky that your mother is good with animals. My Polish mother is still just not used to them, even though I grew up with dogs, since my father was a real animal person. I am like him. I always wanted a cat, but they upset my mother.:shrug:

I understand how this was still your cat. And it is always heartbreaking to lose them.;(

my friend's situation is still the same. But he promised her that next months migration within his company is done and that he will have more time for her then. Let's hope that is true.
