I just brushed a baseball-sized wad of fur off my cat!
and she's still just as furry as when I started. I mean, really, I've been brushing her like this all spring, and there's no let up to the fur. She's so cute, though: when she sees the brush her eyes light up and she comes trotting over to me, tail straight up in the air. Then flops herself down on the floor ready to be brushed.

...And I did the brushing while wearing black pants, for some reason. Well, they're covered in fur already, so I might as well go brush the other two cats...

My cats are always miserable this time of year. It is like they are covered in wool...they are shorthair as well...

8. I'd love to post one...
but I lack both a digital camera and a place up upload, store, and link-to pics. (and i call myself a nerd; a physicist, even! :wow: )

Think of a long-haired puff-ball of a calico, all white underbelly, with big blue-green eyes and you've got the cat I posted about.

6. welcome to my world...
I'm the personal assistant to a long haired orange tabby named Patsy Cline. When I'm not doing her bidding, I'm picking up orange fuzz off of the floor.

7. more brushing = less hairball barf
So brushing is a must for my cat. He also loves it and will let me brush him with a fuller brush all afternoon.

I've brushed off enough coats of hair for about twenty cats now, and he's only seven years old.
