here is a weird question from your resident hypochondriac
Ever felt a feeling in your chest that can only be described as light-headedness? Yes. I feel light-headed but the feeling is in my chest.

3. I'm good!
Just got back from my cousins daughters first holy communion. My hormonal self yelled at a bratty 6 yr old for holding the bathroom door shut on my 4 yr old son. I knew he was too little to go in there alone but he wouldnt go in the womens with me :(

What about indigestion?

5. I am, too. And yes,
I've had a weird feeling like that, many times. Usually it is because when I'm nervous or talking a lot, I swallow air that starts to come up, but then just sits in my chest. Sometimes it feels kind of like the ephedrine tingles you get in your spine, only in my chest instead.

More often than not, it's something most people wouldn't notice, but then there are people like us who actively search for odd feelings, and usually, it intensifies until we figure out it is nothing and can safely move on to the next odd sensation... letting that intensify... lather, rinse, repeat.

Doubt it's anything to worry about. :hi:

6. "lather, rinse, repeat." Great way to describe it!
That's funny. It's perfect. A mole becomes melanoma becomes stage four cancer... inoperable, fly-the-family-out cancer. Of course, the last mole I had a doctor look at was a tick....

Thanks for the reality check, Ariana Celeste. :hi:

I have to tell myself about 100 times a day, "I am just reading too much into this," or, "Last time it was only indigestion," and so on and so forth. I check medical websites like some people read their Bibles.

I think the reason I'm like that, is because I have never been seriously hurt and never had any big problems with my body, so I have developed a fear of something happening to me! :scared:

On edit: My husband checks my pulse for me so often it has become as natural as recieving a kiss. ;)

11. My heart's fine. I have the big scar down the middle of the chest to prove
it. ;)

Thanks for the info -- I didn't know that. I'm due to go to the doc anyway and I'll surely tell her about this.

10. Bertha, you and I should get together
I always feel like I'm dying. I've been to the docs four times since the end of January. They keep telling me I'm fine but I still feel like shit everyday. It's one thing or another. And I'm only 27. What is wrong with us!

about feeling shitty! (well, ok, I'm doing it here) but if they say I'm fine I guess I am!
Sue the docs big time if I happen to drop!

18. Well then...
I should stop smoking and stop drinking almost every night but to be honest with you one of the other times I feel really good is when I'm drunk. I know, it's the alcohol messing with my brain but it's true. I feel good when I'm drunk mainly b/c I am not thinking about feeling shitty.

All my blood work, urine reports came back fine. They said via the tests that all my organs were working properly.

I'm still getting panic attacks but have yet to take any of the meds they have given me.

I think it's more of a mental thing but right now I am so dizzy and it's hard to concentrate and focus on much of anything.

17. Your heart can flutter a little if you have high blood presure... or
You might have a hiatal hernia. Neither of those things will kill you.
