Her name is Devon Aoki. She is a model and actress who has a role in the movie "Sin City". The morons on the message board over at Internet Movie Database are saying nasty things like:

"She's a butterface."
"I thought Eurasians were supposed to be attractive."
"She's an ugly bitch."

I think she's devastating.

17. Agreed, they're even worse than Yahoo trolls.
One character was screaming insults at anyone who posted a contrary opinion. When a couple people tried to say "I agree with you but calm down" They got flamed too.

31. Makes me glad I can't see the image.
Using the word "fatasses" is bad enough, especially when the poster in question meant "fatheads".

We really need to get past condemning fat, and slinging physical characteristics around as insults, especially in assumptions about those we condemn. It lowers instead of elevates the discourse, and those of us who are fat, or who otherwise don't fit the prevailing mold of what's 'acceptable' get to feel marginalized. Not much of a way to be liberal or progressive, that.

Just something to think about, folks.

...she does have a certain amount of baby fat. This isn't the picture of her that I wanted to post. In the original photo she looked more mature but it was one of those ILLEGAL CODE photos and it wouldn't post.
