Movies that killed careers
You know the movies. Perhaps the actor/actress was on the way out already, but this movie was just the nail in the coffin. After this movie, he or she never made another good movie.

after he won that Oscar you barely saw him or if you did it was second rate films or direct to video. Though he does seem to be slowly coming back.

anyone who used to play Jesus in a movie killed off their career. Though recently with actors like Willem Defoe (sp?) the curse seems to be broken.

Not only did it torpedo Michael Cimino's directing career, it made westerns box-office poison for years after its release, and effectively kiboshed directors' control of final cuts vis a vis the studios.

He was already a washed up actor, but this movie was a pathetic whimper of an end for him.
