I only saw one pic of Progmom in all of the Boston threads.

What's the deal? Did I miss something? :shrug:
I wanted to see more of this woman that makes me laugh my ass off. Literally, just yesterday I checked... no ass left. x(

I did catch JJ's stunt with CU last night. That was pretty funny. It just boggles my mind how big of TOOLS they have to be, to have their party in control of everything, and STILL the only way they spend their time is by finding a Democratic website and running back to their website to talk about us.

over again for generations. there are two other bettys still around w/ my last name. and they are both betty ann. hence the ellen. after i wasn't little betty anymore i was be. i hate it, actually.

53. they all came over in the thirties.

and lived in the south bronx, by the 40's they lived near where i grew up in the semi so east bx.
my grandfather was a widower and had moved to the bx by himself years before this pic was taken. the kids lived with cousins (in a two room thatched cottage) until my granfather sent for them when they were teenagers.
my dad and uncle joined ww2 the minute they could.
the next pic taken of my dad, and he's a soldier. so i love that one.
out of the whole bunch, aunt b is the only survivor.
they're good people, not as weird as my mom's side.

really cool stuff. my mom came over from holland in '53 - not nearly as interesting as your story. though i have some great stories about my grandfather in the Dutch Underground during the Nazi occupation. He did amazing stuff. So many were heroes during that time.

oh the dutch underground was way cool, they nearly made operation market garden work but of course Monty was a poophead........as are most Brits(*Kleeb has a an anti british bias, ya dont say :D), I butt in because my mom's dad's family were Slovenian partisans. BTW good for your grandfather, sounds like a hero. A distant relative of mine, a Slovak was one of the flagraisers on Iwo Jima, they're making a movie about it, he sadly died.
