Can't keep my eyes off you
You'd feel like heaven to touch
I want to hold you so much

Who did that tune originally? I was just listening to Muse's version of it and they do a pretty good job. I love the lyrics. I used to hate love songs, but I'm afraid I'm becoming a big softy.

1. Frankie Vali, though Frank Sinatra did it better, I think...
Frankie Vali of the Four Seasons...

2. Thank you
It's a great song. I will have to see if I can get the Four Seasons and Sinatra versions of it.

Frankie Valli in 1967

The Letterman had a hit with it in 1968 as part of a medley. Nancy Wilson did it, and the Pet Shop Boys had a minor hit with it as part of a medley, too, in 1991.

Nothing wrong with love songs. There are good ones and there are bad ones.

4. I knew that song was a cover when I heard it
But I had no idea how many people had remade it. Now y'all are going to have me looking for all kinds of albums.

Didn't Leslie Uggums or someone like that do it also? (Or am I thinking of Nancy Wilson?)

7. I like most the original song
The one Frankie Vali did.

And every time when I hear that song I want to see The Deer Hunter again. Great movie :)
