Anti-Bush John Prine Lyrics
from "Some Humans ain't Human" from his new album Fair and Square

Have you ever noticed
When you're feeling really good
There's always a pigeon
That'll come shit on your hood

Or you're feeling your freedom
And the world's off your back
Some cowboy from Texas
Starts his own war in Iraq

JP has always been the Man

1. I've loved John Prine since the first time I heard him,
almost 35 years ago. Jeez, has it been that long...

his voice has changed from the cancer stuff- sounds better (?) now

6. Hell ya!
I saw him in Cincinnati soon after the Afgan war started. Was hoping he'd do "Your Flag Decal won't get you into Heaven anymore" - but alas, he didn't. Too soon after 9/11 I guess.
