I got a "free" tank of gas!

A local grocery store here in Pittburgh, Giant Eagle, has opened a bunch of gas stations called "Get-Go's" and if you buy groceries from them then you get about $0.10 per gallon for every $50 bucks you spend at their store.

I do all my shopping there because they are a union shop and because I like their stores...

I hadn't been noticing my points because my drive doesn't normally take me past their stations...but this weekend we used some of our points and filled up our car for free...

Now as of 5/1 if you don't use your points you will lose them based on some sort of cycle...but hell...it was quite a nice deal..

Granted it isn't free...I am sure the mark up on the groceries is how I pay for it...but it is better to shop there than Wal-Mart.
