Molson has merged with Coor's which puts it onto the boycott list sadly. I liked Molson Golden as hot weather/picnic beer.

But they started to take off first in Canada either with the song Dreamboat Annie or Dog and Butterfly which first became popular for them in the Montreal area (I think).

I beleive they went to Canada because Ann Wilsons boyfriend fled there to avoid something (Vietnam?) and Ann followed him there (He was the inspiration for the songs, Magic Man and If Looks Could Kill I think).

Most of this info was from the VH1 behind the scenes special.

Two of my Canadian loves: Holly Cole and poutine.

5. Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young
and Beautiful B.C., Yoho National Park, my cousins in Sask. and BC, the Maritime Provinces, the Northern Lights, friendly people in Toronto (all over Canada actually), the Saskatoon berries and raspberries on my Cousin's farm, Canadian Whiskey, canoeing on a still, deep lake, etc.
