Been reading some threads about resturants and others' behavior in them
I think everyone needs to get a dictionary and look up the word "public"

1. I'm not sure what you're implying -- are public venues places we should
expect lousy behavior, or should we *not* be doing these things in public?

If it's the former -- two words. Public library.

3. This leads me to wonder what' s a "place", what's a "venue"

and what's "public". The people who would "move locations" in a theater or restaurant would re-locate here by switching groups or putting people on ignore, right? Those who wouldn't would go to ATA (or whatever is left)and instead go to the manager.

14. What should I say?
That don't I think think it's proper for women(or men) to talk loudly about sex or extremely personal things in public? Nor do I think it's proper for people to let their children run around screaming their heads off and do nothing.

Simply put; If it's a public place, it means it's a place for everyone, not just you. So don't act like it's your fucking living room.

Really? You seem to be willing to act like it is yours and forbid behavior you don't approve of.

16. LOL
I don't care what they do per say, just as long as it's not disruptive.

I guess I just want people to be considerate and understand that the place is not just for them and they should try to act with some respect for the other people in that place. You see what I'm saying?

Like if I was to start laughing really loudly in a movie, that might annoy other people who are trying to enjoy the movie, so I'll cover my mouth or try and calm down, where if I was at home I would just laugh and laugh and not care.

17. That's fine
I don't want to argue (hard to believe, I know).

Just wanted to say that everyone is different and when you go out into public you might find they all don't have the same idea of how to act in public as you.

6. "Bilbo, it's a dangerous thing, going out your door."
The world is full of middle aged women talking about sex, little kids running around, guys drinking beer and screaming about NASCAR, and even strange people in odd clothes speaking different languages you don't understand (I bet they are talking about you).

Can't deal with a public place? Hide under your bed.

18. lol. Exactly.
I can count on one hand the number of times my meal was ruined by anyone of any age. I guess I've been going to all the right places.

Although I have to admit that the women talking loudly about their sex life for all the rest of us to here while we're eating would annoy me.
