20. Me, too.
I thought I was the only one!

My sister loves the smell of skunk. I'm odd in that it is a smell I cannot detect. I have no idea what skunk smells like. I've never been near a spraying skunk at close range, so I don't know if that would make a difference. But, when everyone else in the car yells "Ugh! Dead skunk!" I smell nothing. There are a few other smells I have a hard time detecting, also.

23. SKUNK and GASOLINE.
Skunk reminds me of being in the mountains, and I have no really good explanation of why I like the smell of gasoline.

4. Well I won't say I Love it, but I like Skunk...
...I know I'm not alone.

Not too close (I've never been sprayed), and not too fresh. But I like it.

Must be something basic, genetic, and biochemical about what smells we prefer or abhor.

9. I like skunk smell too, with those same qualifications
Even before I ever tried :smoke: which can sometimes have a delightful skunky smell. Full strength is not good, though. I remember having to clean my Sheltie after he was sprayed. Ugh.

I don't know if other people can't stand that smell, but it's probably not high on others' lists.

17. It must be genetic, all my little sister's kids like it too.
Sometimes it's tough being an adult and letting them have the bannana taffies...

(I can't believe I just said that...)

18. Then you should move in with me.
My 4th floor dorm room is upwind (West/Northwest) from the campus livestock fields. It sometimes sucks to have my window open on a hot day...

21. If you are upwind, shouldn't be a problem
the wind is blowing from your direction towards the livestock fields. Now, if you were downwind, cowpie city.

19. Skunk
Being a city boy I never realized that skunk really does smell like great pot until one of my co-workers hit one on the way to work. He pulled up and I was all over him wanting to know where the goods were stashed. Skunk smells great.
