Only in New Mexico - Huge burrito mistaken for Bomb
Sounds good, too!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7683168/

CLOVIS, N.M. - A call about a possible weapon at a middle school prompted police to put armed officers on rooftops, close nearby streets and lock down the school. All over a giant burrito.

Someone called authorities Thursday after seeing a boy carrying something long and wrapped into Marshall Junior High.

The drama ended two hours later when the suspicious item was identified as a 30-inch burrito filled with steak, guacamole, lettuce, salsa and jalapeños and wrapped inside tin foil and a white T-shirt.

The burrito was part of Morrissey's extra-credit assignment to create commercial advertising for a product.

"We had to make up a product and it could have been anything. I made up a restaurant that specialized in oddly large burritos," Morrissey said.

1. In fairness to the cops, burritos are known to have explosive qualities...
..at least, once they are consumed.

2. He's got a hit on his hands...
... thanks to the free advertising. This fellow needs to go into business upon graduation. Think of what the menu would look like:

"The AK-47"

"The Green Napalm"

"The MOAB (Mother Of All Burritos)"

"The Shock and Awe (Steak and Adobo)"

:P

3. heheh
I think giant burritos are a good idea. Like those giant subs.

And you could have a burrito restaurant that's like subway.

yum!

7. Mmmmm...my kind of place.
I haven't been able to enjoy a Moe's burrito for a while, because I moved last year and I guess the franchise just hasn't grown into this area. But I'm going back home to visit some old friends, so hopefully I'll get a chance soon.

Their menu is great; they have entrees like the Homewrecker (my personal fave; the mother of all burritoes), the Ugly Naked Guy (a vegetarian taco), and Puff the Magic Dragon (a taco for kids).
