and the "mystery voice from the box" pops back with "Would you like something to drink with that?" :wtf: Maybe I should have ordered a coke to go with my shake?

My wife likes HAMburgers not Cheeseburgers so we pull up to a McD's at the beginning of a three hour trip.

Me:"I would like a #2 but with NO cheese and a small coke with that"

Voice:"I'm sorry sir if we take the cheese off they aren't cheeseburgers they are hamburgers"

As I lung toward the box my wife grabs my arm-shakes her head no (don't piss off the food people)

Me:"Okay let me have two hamburgers, a small frie, and a small coke"

I get on that. I answer the phones "Thanks for calling such and such, how may I direct your call?" repeat, repeat, repeat, wait I need to page "Thank for c..uggh..avaiable sales please call the operator" And then I'll hear the laughter from the sales manager's office.

8. Evidently (as I learned a couple years ago) some people

consider milkshakes to be a dessert, not a drink. This ocurred when I ordered a burger and a shake at a diner with my friends. They wanted to know why I was ordering the shake now, not later. I said because I was going to drink it with my burger. They were aghast. Then the argument began. 4 believed that milkshakes are desserts, and 2 of us believe they are drinks.

It's still a joke among all of us, but they're terribly mistaken.
