Poll question: are you pissed/upset/sad when your favorite tv shows are canceled?
Edited on Tue May-03-05 04:16 PM by bertha katzenengel
I can't believe they're taking "Third Watch" off the air. What will I do w/out my weekly Molly Price/Faith Yokas fix?!

PS Molly Price is on the far left

1. Yeah, I am
I don't watch all that much TV, but it seems like whenever I like something, the network must get a signal that it's time to cancel it. :eyes:

2. Bummed
I am bummed they are taking "Third Watch" off, as well! I love Molly Price!!! She plays a "fag hag" in a few different movies and was pretty pro-gay on "TW" too! I really got into the whole show. It will be missed by me!

6. Fag hag?! No! Can't see her that way at all.
Loved her on last week's show -- "just trying to put it into context" to the reporter. HA! I wanted her to smack that vapid talking head.

3. Depends on a few things
If a show has been on a few years and failed to build an audience but the network gave it a chance then I can live with it.

But when a show is well done and a network jerks it around the schedule and makes it impossible to get an audience then i can get a little upset.

As an example of the first case, Homice: Life on the Streets. Never was a ratings winner yet NBC carried it for 5 or 6 years. They gave it a good chance.

Whereas Dead Like Me on SHowtime was a great show but it didn't make Showtime into a household name so thye gave it two years and cut it off. Which is exactly what i am going to do with my Showtime subscription. Soon as P&T's Bullshit wraps up. :-)

4. I Get Bummed When The Daily Show Is a Rerun!!
If I don't know it's a rerun and I'm all set for TDS, I get pretty disappointed I have to admit!

I have to admit being kind of disappointed but also relieved that my Monday night addiction was taken off -- the very silly How Clean Is Your House seems to have been replaced by a REALLY boring show that focuses on who-cares actress Catherine Oxenburg and her picture-perfect life, kids, house, husband etc. ZZZZZZ!!!

7. Yes, I am pissed they are not bringing American Dreams
back next year. It was such a great show & I watch very little TV since most is crap. I will miss it.
