I will never get that half hour back.
I had to the health department today, to get a food handler's permit for my new job. They make you watch a video, that's a half hour long.


Gee, are you sure I wash my hands before I start handling food? Oooh never go to work if you're sick... gosh are you sure about that? I thought I would go in and cough and sneeze on everyone's food, it adds flavor don't you know?! :eyes:

Then you take a "test." So boring, and so dumb, and that part of my life is gone forever. How sad.

3. I shall be a barista type person.
At a fresh produce market/cafe. So I'll make coffee, and sandwiches and salads and stuff like that. :D

It's really cool because it's a new place, not open yet. So I go in this Thursday, Friday and Saturday for training on the registers, and learn how to make coffees and all the food we'll be serving with out having to deal with the public. It's pretty damn sweet. Then we'll open next week sometime.

And my boss is the nicest lady, and her hubby is really nice too. :D
