What is the funniest movie ever?
And I mean a movie that was trying to be funny not the kind that couldn't help it - like the Brown Bunny.

There are the classics: Young Frankenstein, Spinal Tap, The Holy Grail, etc...

Which puts you in stitches the most?

My vote: Amazon Women on the Moon (check me in 10 minutes and it'll be different)

Funniest, very original movie. The best in a long time. Although I'm from NJ and there are at least 2 if not 3 White Castles they could have gone to before going to Cherry Hill from New Brunswick. It was so annoying while I was watching saying why don't they go to the one in Sayreville? Other than that- It was perfection. Hmmmm now I want White Castle. Unfortunately I'm not in Jersey anymore.

When he drove by them standing through a moon roof, rubbing boobies and I believe snorting a line off of someone's ass, I almost wet my pants. Neil Patrick Harris was so brilliant to choose this role to break his image. So freakin funny. Now I'VE gotta go on a road trip.

34. Amazon Women on the Moon -
I STILL use Don "no soul" Simmons in everyday conversation.

"Je-re-mi-ah was a bull-frog" (moves hands to appear to be playing a Hammond organ)

Some really funny shit in that film, and some real just general shit... the whole credit card dating sketch was long and boring. But the directors cut of the funeral roast was funny as hell where Robery Picardo puts the moves on the recent widow.

Also, love the Bullshit or Not segments and of course -

Hair Looming.

162. I agree.
I love Clerks, but I HATE Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. The rest of his movies may be watchable, but I think Kevin Smith should have been a one hit wonder.

My favorite lines:

Randall: "It's going to be the social event of the season."

"But you hate people!"

"Yes, but I love gatherings. Isn't it ironic?"

No one's seen this, though EVERYONE is in it: John Astin, Walter Matthau, James Coburn, Marlon Brando, John Huston, Ringo Starr...
It's totally wacky and bizarre; the critics hated it across the board. I hate critics!
They also hated Catch-22, which is another of my faves...
Both of these films' scripts were written by Buck Henry; he's the greatest!
Beyond that, all Python films, most all Mel Brooks, ANYTHING by Zucker, Abrahams & Zucker (Airplane, Hot Shots, Naked Gun... my fave is TOP SECRET w/Val Kilmer), early Woody Allen...
And The Princess Bride!
And King of Hearts!
And Harold & Maude!
And Animal House!
And Revenge of the Nerds!

Not the most intelligent movie, and you will find me far more often sitting down to Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein or Monty Python or some other movies before Beavis and Butthead Do America.

But, Beavis and Butthead Do America is the only movie in which, at the theater, I actually started to fear for my life because I was laughing SO INCREDIBLY STRONGLY I couldn't catch my breath. I almost fell out my chair. I know I was scared.

I have NEVER laughed so much, or so violently, in a movie as I did that one.

152. I've got a few
Raising Arizona is probably the funniest movie ever made.

Heathers : so twisted and sick you can't help but laugh. "Corn nuts....", "I love my dead gay son!", Wynona Ryder wearing a monocle as she writes her diary, Christian Slater lighting a cigarette off Wynona's burns, her lighting a cig at the end. Perfect, priceless.

Lots of Pedro Almodovar: Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Almost all of it, but especially, Carmen Maura trying to commit suicide by grinding up pills in gazpacho but everyone but her eats the gazpacho and gets knocked out before the finale. What Did I Do To Deserve This - Carmen Maura gets sick of being an unappreciated housewife and gives her youngest son to a pedophile dentist. So awful but so funny.

Khash.
